Scott Wood began his career more than 30 years ago as an independent oil and gas professional developing prospects and acquiring oil and gas properties from public companies, including Exxon and Chevron, as well as numerous independents. Through his career, Scott has purchased and sold more than $500 million in assets and has operated more than 3,500 wells in most of the hydrocarbon basins in the USA.
Scott has drawn from these experiences at his previous companies, having employed more than 200 employees, and focused his newest endeavor, Newbridge Resources Group LLC, to acquire and develop conventional oil and gas reserves in the western US. As CEO of Newbridge, which wholly owns PCEC, Scott continues, with his European-based private equity partners and multiple banking relationships, to acquire and develop oil and gas projects.
Robert Foss, Chief Financial Officer, has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector serving in executive and board level roles in upstream, midstream and marketing and trading. Mr. Foss has served in large corporation such as Shell and Iberdrola Renewables as well as in private equity backed portfolio companies. Rob has served in financial as well as operational leadership roles including CEO, President and Chief Financial Officer.
He holds a BBA in Banking and Finance from the university of North Dakota and is an accredited Board Fellow through National Association of Corporate Directors.
Philip Brown, Senior Vice President Operations, joined PCEC in 2013. He has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas and related industries in large-scale project management and engineering. Prior to joining PCEC, Phil held the position of China Facilities Manager for Anadarko (Kerr-McGee China Petroleum Ltd.) based in Beijing for over 10 years. He was responsible for the design, construction, installation, commissioning, and integrity of Anadarko's fixed and floating offshore facilities. Prior to Anadarko, Phil was based in Aberdeen UK, and held various positions working for Shell and Kerr-McGee in their North Sea operations, including the role of Commissioning Manager for several large offshore floating production units.
Mr. Oakley has worked for PCEC since 2018 and is responsible for maintaining compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations as well as sustaining relationships with the local community, regulatory agencies, and elected officials. Additionally, Mr. Oakley serves on the county Air Pollution Control District's Community Advisory Council and as the Energy Team Lead for the Northern Santa Barbara County EconAlliance. Mr. Oakley holds a BS degree in Geography and Master's degree in Natural Resource Management from Utah State University.
